Kudos to Mr. Kalfel for writing a book about a topic many other writers won't touch. As a psychiatrist, I see people's efforts to deny their mortality daily, and while this is natural, it is not healthy. This book sheds light and brings great wit to the topic of cremation.
Cremation was the general practice of the ancient world, with the important exceptions of Egypt, where bodies were embalmed; Judaea, where they were buried in sepulchers; and China, where they were buried in the earth.
